In the Gap, is Ganesha.
Two Fridays a month I will be sharing a soul yantra painting and the story behind it. A soul yantra is an energetic transmission and talisman that attunes you immediately to the essence of who you are and transmits what is emerging for and through you.
This is the Soul Yantra of Ganesha as Ganapati.
“In the Gap, is Ganesha.” A whisper from my guru, Ma, on my yoga mat. I had been feeling in the gap, in between, navigating nothingness . . . and doing a little writhing, looking for a foothold of focus. Finally, I could breathe out: a reminder of the fertile ground of those in between times, of silence and stillness. “This is fertile territory,” I thought, “where space is being made, for clarity.”
I dedicated my year to Simplicity and Devotion. With Simplicity, came all kinds of Space. Space that my mind would not let Devotion fill. “Something must be wrong. I must be more in the doing.” But doing what? I’d shed the overworking. I’d looked it in the eye and taken a different course.
And so, here I am, with space and time, asking to know Ganesha.
Om Ganapati.
Om Ganapati.
Om Ganapati.
*Ganesha is the energy of dissolving obstacles. Ganesha is known for his calm, grounded insight. He sees into the nature of things, as they are (and of you, as you are) with unblinking clarity and acceptance. He offers clever, at times obvious, at times surprising, but always simple, solutions.
How is the gap showing up in your life?
How can you explore and experience it as fertile territory?
The empty spaces seem to be the most challenging for most of us. If you’d like to find and navigate your own gaps—to allow yourself to be less in the doing—email me and let’s talk about how Individual Mentoring could facilitate that.
“What I got most (and from every interaction with you) is the sense of slowing down to accelerate the expansion or movement of what we are working towards—almost like an alternate time reality.”
Individual Mentoring
It is my honor to work with you in this sacred practice of healing and release.
