We can impact events through our practice, our prayers and our presence. (There is an energetic and practical reality to this. It is not out there.)
When we meet the moment with the opposite spirit of the dynamics we see playing out—and cultivate that within ourselves—it has the power to transform and to generate.
We are currently untangling a collective karmic knot—through a confluence of social, political, economic and technological factors that no one has ever seen before.
Collective practice and prayer—across traditions—creates a powerful space and opportunity for engagement, transformation and impact—at a root level.
So, together, my friend and colleague, April Thomas, and I invite you to gather with us this Friday, February 7 at 3:30 ET in interfaith practice and prayer to:
- root you in truth—beyond the current chaos, assault and destruction
- metabolize fear, rage and grief
- activate and amplify the energy of truth, integrity and justice, of generosity, abundance and plurality, and of dignity, curiosity and collaboration—within you and the collective
We will each do our own spiritual practice—with this same general intention—for 15 minutes.
You are invited to show up as you are—and practice how you practice or pray in your own relationship with the Sacred.
(If you want a practice rather than bringing your own, I will share a link with you in the registration confirmation to two mantra practices that hold these qualities we’re amplifying. You are welcome to practice those with me if you ever feel at a loss or want a guide.)
