You’re not confused. You’re afraid.
Listen to this post.
You’re not confused. You know. (Deep inside, you know, even if you can’t access it right now.)
You’re afraid.
(Ouch . . . I know . . . stay with me.)
Being clear feels risky.
So, fear sends you back into confusion—to save you from the pain and grief of potential loss (or failure, or ridicule). But you miss the miracle of what is possible when you stand in the simple truth of what you know. (So much. So much is possible that you cannot even imagine.)
Naturally, there can be a moment of pain, of loss, or grief, or fear in your clarity. But it opens up a calm, clear certainty.
That is why being held through the transition is essential. Because, in that brief moment you feel the pain or grief, it stops you.
You recoil; or you shut down; or worse, you criticize. (You do whatever it is you’ve always done.)
And you never get to experience the miracle of that calm, clear certainty—and what it brings about.
It’s hard to hold yourself through those moments of grief—to be compassionate, tender, curious. And it’s easy to feel like you’re going to be stuck there forever.
You are not going to be stuck in fear or grief forever. (I promise it is not going to consume you.) And, you do not need to face it all at once—or forge ahead despite it.
You can invite one piece at a time into a sacred space of love and awareness, curiosity and compassion.
You can cultivate your relationship with the Divine, and lay your fear, piece by piece, on that altar.
You can bring it close, and let it whisper its wisdom.
Because there is something fear wants you to know. Something useful. Something powerful. Something transformative.
And you can become practiced at transforming fear into fuel—rather than letting it send you back into confusion.
You learn, until you know in your bones, that your Clarity is Truth.
And the Truth is not scary. It’s liberating.
When you are clear, you are resourced.
You are certain. You are calm. You are powerful.
And you are suddenly open—to all the possibilities you cannot yet see and your mind cannot possibly conceive.
You trust yourself.
(Breathe that in.)
Can you allow yourself to gently and compassionately lay down your fear—and transform the illusion of confusion into the undeniable power of clarity?
Right now, you only need to trust yourself to take the first step.

(Yes, there will be a recording.)
When we started working together, I was so terrified of the unknown. But the truth is not scary. It’s liberating. And the only thing that got burnt down to the ground (despite my fear) were the barriers to it.
